ABOUT
Alexandra Cali, LPC
I’m Alexandra and I am an LPC licensed in the state of Georgia. I received both my BA in Psychology in 2012, and my MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 from the University of West Georgia. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults on life skills such as developing health coping mechanisms, facing and managing life stressors, building positive relationships with peers and family, improving self-esteem and self-worth, and building resilience through life’s biggest hurdles.
My specialties include anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harm, low-self esteem, and life stressors and transitions.
While I am CBT focused, I am person-centered and will meet the client exactly where they are. I love helping others live their lives authentically. I believe change comes from building a safe and nurturing space for clients to feel comfortable expressing any vulnerability. Clients will experience a judgment free space and be met with unconditional positive regard. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and positive psychology within my therapeutic practice.
In my free time you can find me at home with my son, husband, and german shepherd, Harley. I love to bake, watch my favorite tv shows, and anything that goes along with the fall and winter seasons, especially all of the holidays.
